In February, we celebrated Black History Month and this year's this theme, Art for Change, further highlighted and honored Black artists sparking change and inspiration through creativity. We also have you covered with a few more occurrences that celebrated the month, including a playlist, recommendations, and how wikis celebrated the month! Fandom's Trust & Safety Team has been hard at work to ensure the Fandom platform remains a safe and inclusive online community for all users. Because of this, Fandom is pleased to share its first ever transparency report, which discloses what sensitive actions Fandom has taken in order to keep the platform safe for users across the platform.

Fandom is becoming a little more fun and rewarding for a few editors within the platform! For editors on gaming wikis, benefits is a top priority for those respective users and communities! Also stay tuned for April for a preview into the expanding partnerships for Entertainment!

Fandom has released a small update to the VisualEditor, in both the visual and source mode, further adhering to the goal of making this feature more accessible and intuitive for users across the platform.

Take a look at the updates in regard to Quick Answers! Fandom staff has been working hard on an Editor Dashboard which would allow for admins to edit questions within the feature! There's also going to be a vetting period to give admins time to review questions before they're live within a wiki community.

Thrilled to share that Community Connect 2024 is coming soon! This year’s Community Connect will be from Sunday, April 28th to Thursday, May 2nd in Phoenix, Arizona. For those unable to make it to the event in-person who'd like to attend, we still got you covered with a virtual experience you won't want to miss!

After a long testing period, the Thanks extension is available to all communities! Not familiar with this extension? Thanks is a MediaWiki extension that allows editors to easily thank others for specific edits on wiki pages.

• Reported Notifications (click here to learn more)

After months of testing, reported post notifications are available to wikis that have one social feature enabled. Reporting a post in Discussions, Message Walls, or Article Comments will trigger an on-site notification for all the thread moderators and admins to view.

A Discord Roundtable was recently hosted by Fandom Staff with Fandom Stars to further dive into Fandom's current policy, ad strategy, communication, and forking. The event wasn't just to address immediate issues and concerns but further helped to shape a better communication line with the entire Fandom community.

You may have heard of a feature called Quick Answers that rolled out in mid-August after testing occurred. One of the biggest feedback from the community was that the ability for the community to edit the content in Quick Answers. Edit options for Quick Answers will soon be made available to admins, thread moderators, content moderators, and users with rollback rights.

Various happenings are occurring to celebrate! One of which is the Makers Series, where we'll highlight the people behind the scenes of the IPs we love, who haven't had their stories told before. We'd love to hear from you too! Share the IPs that inspire you and the Hispanic creators who fuel your passion! Want to learn more?
