Background[]
Dead Hand is a band beloved by several Degrassi students including Sav Bhandari, Eli Goldsworthy, and Adam Torres. They also have fans including Bianca DeSousa and Clare Edwards.
Overview[]
Dead Hand was first mentioned when Sav Bhandari wanted to attend a concert in Toronto and had to get tickets by calling in to Bullfrog Goldsworthy's station. He ended up winning tickets and attended with Bianca, Adam, and Eli in his dad's car.
Season 10[]
In I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself (1), Eli, Adam, Bianca, Wesley Betenkamp, and other classmates compete to win Dead Hand tickets by placing their hand on Mr. Bhandari's truck to see who can hold it the longest.
In I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself (2) Eli and Adam end up splitting the tickets, though since Adam damages the truck and Eli fixes it, they decide to give Sav the extra ticket along with Bianca. The four road trip in the truck to the concert but get pulled over after the concert because the vehicle was reported stolen.
In Umbrella (1), Eli wears a Dead Hand shirt.
In Umbrella (2), Bullfrog wears a Dead Hand shirt as Adam and Clare visit the Goldsworthy household.
Season 12[]
In Come As You Are (1), Eli is at Drew Torres' party, talking to some classmates about seeing Dead Hand in New York during the holiday break and telling them how they were much better there than in Toronto.
Season 14[]
In Give Me One Reason, Clare angrily sings Dead Hand's signature song, Paisley Jacket, as she drives to Columbia University, while ignoring her impending miscarriage.
