Elliot "Davon" Cohen is a student at Degrassi who is seen to be well known by most of the main Degrassi students of seasons 2-12, though he is only an extra. He is friends with Craig Manning, J.T. Yorke, Reese, Chantay Black, Drew Torres, Marisol Lewis, Danny Van Zandt, Derek Haig, and Fiona Coyne and shared classes with many other students.

In Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Davon can be seen watching Jimmy Brooks and Spinner Mason perform in the dance-off.
In Shout (1), Davon cheers with and then walks behind Paige Michalchuk and Hazel Aden after they finish cheering during the Degrassi vs. Bardell soccer game.
In Shout (2), Davon is seen in the hallway holding a basketball and talking to a friend. Davon runs by Liberty Van Zandt in a basketball uniform just after she defaces J.T.'s locker. He later sits next to Liberty in Mrs. Kwan's classroom as Liberty and Toby Isaacs discuss J.T. getting into trouble for his locker.
In Mirror in the Bathroom, Davon sits on the steps outside Degrassi.
In Take My Breath Away, Davon is first seen in Mr. Simpson's Media Immersion class with Toby, J.T., Liberty, Manny Santos, and Emma Nelson. Spinner and Jimmy later chase him with water guns in front of Degrassi while Marco Del Rossi and Ellie Nash talk. Later, Davon passes by Manny when she walks away from Craig after embarrassing herself by telling him she likes him.
In Hot For Teacher, Davon sits in Coach Armstrong's class by Manny, Emma, Toby, and J.T.'s table. Later, Davon walks down the hall behind Coach Armstrong who is carrying two scooters.

In Dressed in Black, Davon sits between J.T. and Manny as Coach Armstrong teaches the class about contraceptives. Two days later he glances back at Ashley Kerwin as she walks down the hall with her old look back.

In How Soon Is Now?, Davon lifts Paige up as the cheerleaders practice cheers for the upcoming game. He then does a walking handstand while Paige, Spinner, and Hazel talk. Later, he can be seen entering the foyer after Jimmy and playing around with the other basketball players. During the game, Davon plays around with Craig as he sits down to watch.

In What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost? (1), Davon comes out of a classroom while Emma and Manny are speaking about Craig.

In What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost? (2), Davon enters the Media Immersion room as Jimmy and Spinner tell J.T. and Toby that starting a fight with Lakehurst students is a bad idea. Davon is revealed to be one of the friends J.T. brings to the fight with Nic. He later passes behind Manny, Emma, Toby, and J.T. after Toby gets beat up by Lakehurst students.
In Rock This Town, Davon can be seen entering Degrassi as Liberty sullenly watches J.T. and Mia Jones hug goodbye. He can later be seen dancing at Liberty's birthday party with Derek. As Manny walks through the party she yanks an object out of Davon's hand as he jumps up and down with it and tells him it's not a toy; it's a fertility symbol. Davon bounces away with a weird look on his face. He can be seen dancing throughout the party, including when Manny leaves Damian after kissing him and when Ellie and Manny are talking to each other.
In If You Leave, Davon is in the crowd watching Degrassi compete against Lakehurst in the Spirit Squad Metro Finals. When Lakehurst begins their routine, he shakes his head in disgust with the rest of Degrassi.

In Standing In The Dark (1), Davon listens to music and talks with friends during lunch in the cafeteria. He then passes a basketball in the gym with friends when Darcy and Manny stretch. The next day, he plays ball hockey outside near the Dot while Liberty confronts Toby about his podcast.
In It's Tricky, Davon claps when Danny and Derek start their act at the talent show. He then watches Ashley Kerwin perform and laughs with a friend when Johnny DiMarco heckles her and says to play one of Craig's songs.
In Death or Glory (1), Davon watches as Spinner Mason breaks up the fight between Liberty and Lucas Valieri.
In Death or Glory (2), Davon watches Spinner beat Jimmy Brooks at dodgeball and he high-fives Derek in celebration before getting tossed a dodgeball by him.
In Jesse's Girl, Davon sits next to Derek in physics class and nods to Anya MacPherson when their teacher asks her to read aloud. The next day he runs down the hall behind Anya and Holly J. Sinclair.
In Hungry Eyes, Davon sits at a computer in Manny and Emma Nelson's Media Immersion class as Damian Hayes walks in. Then he is sitting on a bench in the foyer as Mr. Simpson confronts Emma about her attire. He later takes a Purple Dragon energy drink from Emma's table and goes to stand with Danny and Derek. He watches as Emma pours her drink on Bruce and laughs with Danny and Derek. He stands with Derek and Danny and watches Emma strip to her underwear. He shouts her name with a smile on his face as the crowd goes wild.
In Live To Tell, he is seen in the hall behind Mr. Simpson as he goes to confront Darcy Edwards about her cutting her hair in front of him.
In Got My Mind Set On You, Davon sits next to Danny in Media Immersion as Peter Stone asks him and Derek to be partners. Davon then gets up and talks to someone else in class. At the end of class he can be seen talking to Johnny. After school, he is seen at The Break Room when Peter, Danny, Derek, and fellow classmate Rachel are there. The next morning, Davon is seen prepping his backpack near the bike rack and school bus before school. The following day, Davon sits next to Danny in class again. The next day, after Johnny gives his presentation in class, Davon is seen clapping wildly for him as Johnny walks to sit beside him.

In Sweet Child O' Mine, Davon sits and listens to Liberty talk about the Spring Fever Spirit Squad Fundraiser Dance. A few minutes later he is seen in a different outfit and gets his hat taken and thrown against a locker by an angry Lucas Valieri walking by. At the dance, he can be seen dancing next to Liberty and Holly J. Sinclair. The next day, Davon walks out by the shops where Manny is trying to recover her ring.
In Talking In Your Sleep, Davon walks down the hall behind Jane. Two days later, he walks out of a classroom in front of Jane holding a skeleton.
In Broken Wings, Davon walks past Jimmy as he hits his wheelchair into a doorframe by accident and as he does so, Davon breaks into a smile. A couple days later, Davon is seen in the cafeteria.
In Ladies' Night, Davon is seen in the cafeteria as Anya gives a speech about Free the Children's fast day at Degrassi. He later volunteers as one of the water boilers and is seen carrying a bucket to get it filled with water. He later sees the livestream of Holly J. eating a cookie and clutches his stomach and grimaces while watching her. Later, when Anya announces that there are 10 hours left for the fast, Davon sits next to Derek and shakes his head as Derek complains. Just before The Stüdz perform, Davon is seen yelling at Holly J. with the rest of the volunteers. When The Stüdz start to perform, Davon yells and jumps up in excitement. The next morning, Davon, who was sleeping in a red sleeping bag, is woken up with everyone else by Anya. He smiles at Anya excitedly and grabs a few slices of pizza when Holly J. orders it for everyone before the fasting period is up. When Anya confronts Holly J. the next day and Holly J. tells her to get over herself, Davon can be seen walking down the hall as she walks away.
In Everything She Wants, Davon walks into school and runs in the foyer behind Mia Jones as she talks to Lucas.

In Don't Stop Believin', Davon looks concerned for Liberty as she starts fake-choking in Media Immersion in order to not have the Grade 12 class see her speech putting Damian down. Once Toby Isaacs performs the Heimlich and Liberty pushes him off, Davon begins to watch the video until the electricity goes out.
In If This Is It, Davon can be seen walking down the hall when Spinner tells Jane Vaughn that he's in remission. Davon can be seen walking into the cafeteria when Spinner, Peter, Danny, and Sav Bhandari meet about their upcoming performance. Davon sits with a group of friends. He is later seen in Jimmy and Spinner's physics class when Jimmy confronts Spinner about ditching their project. After the fire alarm is pulled by Jimmy, Davon holds the door open for a fireman and gets his hands checked for blue ink by Principal Hatzilakos after Spinner and Jane.
In We Built This City, Davon takes a final exam behind Emma and watches Liberty announce that Natasha Bedingfield will be performing at prom.

In Uptown Girl (1), Davon is seen in the foyer as Danny and Holly J. argue, making motions to Derek who nods at him. He is then seen clapping when Danny and Mia show off during the fashion show. In Come As You Are (1), Davon can be seen patting Drew on the back as he walks between chairs to sit next to Bianca for the before-school assembly that Principal Simpson is speaking at. As Katie sits next to Drew, Marisol sits between her and Davon. When Simpson announces there will be no more uniforms, Davon jumps up with everyone else and starts yelling excitedly through cupped hands. He can then be seen talking to Marisol behind Katie and Drew. Later that night, Davon is at Drew's party and can be seen dancing behind Eli and Clare when Clare tries and fails to have a meaningful conversation with Eli. When Drew comes down the stairs after an interaction with Katie, Davon is seen jumping up and down with the rest of the partygoers and Drew.
In Come As You Are (2), Davon, sporting a mustache, walks by Tori's locker as she rearranges Maya's chicken cutlets so she doesn't have a mono-boob. Davon seems shocked by what he sees.
In Gives You Hell (1) (AKA Walking on Broken Glass), Davon waves behind Bianca as she confronts Katie about someone egging her car.

He stands outside when Maya and Cam greet each other and in the foyer he then holds a clip board while he hands out team colors for Fiona. He then watches with concern as Cam attempts to fight Zig during a competition.

- In Heart Like Mine (2), Davon's actual name is revealed to be Elliott Cohen when Coach Carson names him as a finalist. This could be a tribute to Elliott E. Cohen, who, in 1945, wrote A Teen-Age Bill Of Rights.
- The Season 13 episode shot he was in was b-roll from another season. Judging by the coloring of the shot and his attire, it was most likely from Season 10.
- He can be seen in the season 10 opening credits four separate times:
- When Raymond Ablack takes the camera from Jamie Johnston in the 10A opening, Davon is behind him dancing and smiling with friends.
- When Munro Chambers walks across the screen Davon can be seen walking behind him in the opposite direction and smiling.
- When Alicia Josipovic, Jordan Todosey, and Stefan Brogren's credits are starting, Davon can be seen at a locker behind them on the left.
- When Melinda Shankar and the Degrassi title appear, he can be seen at the top of the Degrassi steps, high-fiving a classmate.
- Even though he was a student in season 7, he was on track to graduate with the Class of 2014 because in season 10 he was shown wearing a purple polo (which signifies a tenth year student) and at the beginning of season 12, he was shown wearing a red polo (which signifies an eleventh year student). This means he may have been held back freshman year.

During the episode Mirror in the Bathroom, Davon walks in the cafeteria as Toby and Kendra are talking. In Take My Breath Away, Davon walks in the gym in his Power Squad uniform and then into the foyer followed by Hazel as Ashley and Ellie talk.
- Season 7 bloopers: During the episode Ladies' Night, Charlotte Arnold, who played Holly J., nearly hits him with the bucket she has on her shoulders. During the episode Got My Mind Set On You, while Jamie Johnston, who played Peter, messes up a line, Davon is seen behind him. During the episode Death Or Glory (2), he is seen behind Aubrey Graham and Shane Kippel, who play Jimmy and Spinner, playing with dodgeballs. During the episode Sweet Child O' Mine, Marc Minardi, who played Lucas Valieri, makes multiple attempts at taking Davon's hat and throwing it. During the episode Death Or Glory (1), Davon goes up to Dalmar Abuzeid, who played Danny, as Aubrey slaps Shane on the butt in an extended blooper.
