Joy was a student at Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. She was a minor character who mainly appeared in the background. In Showtime (2), she says Claude is going to hell for killing himself and cries. She had a brief cameo appearance in season 5 of the next generation at Spike's party. She is portrayed by Lisa Williams.
