Degrassi Junior High[]

Season 2[]

In A Helping Hand..., L.D. wants to get more attention from boys and Lucy invites her to come over for a makeover. As they leave, Mr. Colby tells Lucy how great he thought her paper about losing a best friend who moves away was. He then remarks about how nice a girl her friend Voula Grivogiannis seems to be. Lucy happily smiles back to him. After L.D. sees him touch Lucy's shoulder, L.D. thinks it's too friendly. Lucy says that "there's no such thing as too friendly."

Then they arrive at Lucy's house. Lucy hears that her mother left a message on the answering machine. It says they need to see a lawyer on Saturday to review her shoplifting case. She is ticked off hearing about this. Then Lucy gets even sadder when she hears another message on the answering machine. It is from Voula, who reluctantly tells Lucy that not only can she not make it to the movie, she is also not allowed to see her due to the shoplifting. She then promises to call her back in a couple of weeks. Hopefully then, her parents will get over what happened when they were caught shoplifting. Then after hearing this conversation, L.D. asks Lucy if she ever gets lonely. She responds that she likes "to be alone. [she's] independent." Lucy puts a lot of makeup on L.D., who wipes it off when she leaves, feeling unlike herself. The 8th grade class is discussing the death penalty and L.D. sees Mr. Colby looking down Lucy's shirt. L.D. tells her about it, but Lucy thinks she's just jealous.

The next day, Mr. Colby rubs Lucy's shoulder and Lucy runs home upset. L.D. comes by and Lucy tells her what happened.

In ...He's Back, L.D. asks Lucy to go shopping because she needs something for her cousin's wedding. Lucy can't because she has to do community work. L.D. says she thought that was over but Lucy says she's volunteering now. She goes to the office to get the exam substitute and hears that Ms. Avery is sick and there's going to be a substitute: Mr. Colby. He comes in the office and she runs out. After school, L.D. and Wheels both see Mr. Colby and can't believe that he's back; L.D. says that Lucy claims he doesn't bother her.

Lucy sees him in the library; L.D. watches Lucy and puts her hand on Lucy's shoulder. Lucy jumps and says, "Don't touch me!" She talks to Lucy and tells her that she has to report what happened and Wheels backs her up. Lucy says that she doesn't want anyone to know, and nothing happened. She then runs out of the school.

Inside, Lucy, L.D., and Wheels wait for Susie Rivera to show up to the walk-a-thon at the school. Melanie Brodie tells Susie that Mr. Colby has called in sick today, and they'll be getting another substitute. Susie tells Lucy, L.D., and Wheels that Colby is gone, so they don't have to tell anyone, but Lucy says that they still have to report him or else he'll just do it to someone else. Lucy points out that in a couple of years, it could be Susie's younger sister. They go into the office and ask to see Mr. Lawrence; Doris Bell tells them that it would have to be very important and Susie tells her that it is.

Season 3[]

In A Big Girl Now, L.D. reminds Lucy about her soccer game. L.D. asks Spike to come, but Spike is busy with her baby so she declines. In the hallway, Lucy ponders about having sex, and when L.D. makes a remark, she says "I'm a big girl now." Lucy decides to ditch school with Paul and Clutch, blowing off both the rest of school day and L.D.'s game. The next day, L.D. is ecstatic because she won the game. Lucy congratulates her then lies and says her she can't sleep over because her mother is ill. When they're walking out of the school, Heather Farrell, Erica Farrell and L.D. are walking with Lucy when Clutch and Paul pull up and call Lucy, so they can go get party supplies.

In Pa-arty!, L.D. attends Lucy's party until Lucy's parents come home. Later, at school, L.D., Heather, and Erica, tells Lucy how great the short party was.

Season 1[]

In A New Start, the twins tell Lucy and L.D. that they made 500 dollars each working in California, and Heather tells them about Erica's boyfriend, Jason; she says that he was really good looking and was a camp counselor; Lucy and L.D. ask Erica why she didn't tell them about him, and Erica tells them that Jason turned out to be a real jerk. Erica walks away and Heather pulls Lucy and L.D. aside, telling them that Erica's not a virgin any more, and adding that she only knew Jason for two weeks.

Lucy and L.D. look for a place to eat lunch; they look out into the quad and note that it's filled with older students, but then say that they have as much right to eat there as anyone. As they head into the quad, they see Melanie and Kathleen Mead tied to the flagpole, with bras and underwear on outside their clothes; the two girls shout for Lucy and L.D. to help them and they start out to untie Melanie and Kathleen, but then some older students stand up and glare at them, so they back away, leaving Melanie and Kathleen tied to the pole.

In Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, Joey Jeremiah and Wheels see Lucy and L.D.; Joey tells them that his band, the Zits, wants to shoot a video and they want to borrow her camera; Lucy says sure, as long as she shoots it. Joey tells her that she's "a chick," but Lucy informs him that if they want her camera, then she's going to be the one shooting the video. Joey reluctantly agrees, and arranges that they'll start tomorrow after school.

Inside the school, Lucy shows L.D. how to use the camera; L.D. tapes Wheels walking down the hall, then tells Lucy that he's cute; Lucy wants to know what the story is on that, but L.D. insists that there is nothing to tell.

Later, L.D. is present when they shoot the music video.

In Just Friends, Heather and Erica sit down with Lucy, who gives them a card to sign for L.D., who is still in the hospital. Lucy tells them that L.D. still doesn't know what's wrong, and that she'll be visiting her today; the twins tell Lucy about the party and invite her.

At hospital, Lucy goes in to L.D.'s room to show her the new dress that she's wearing for the party; L.D. is crying, and tells Lucy that she's found out that she has leukemia. Lucy asks if that's like cancer, and L.D. says that it is cancer and reminds her that her mother died of cancer. She says that she's going to have to start chemotherapy tomorrow, and will lose all her hair; Lucy assures her that it will grow back, and tells L.D. that she's strong and can beat it. L.D.'s father arrives; Lucy says that she has to go, and L.D. asks her not to tell anyone yet. As Lucy leaves, she hears L.D.'s father tell her to be strong, and Lucy begins to cry.

At the hospital, Lucy comes back to L.D.'s room carrying some magazines and a teddy bear; L.D. asks if the party's over already, but Lucy says that she decided not to go. L.D.'s dad leaves them alone to talk; Lucy tells L.D. that she thought that they could look through the magazines and pick out clothes; L.D. thanks her for coming back and they start to page through the magazines.

In Sixteen, in the hall, the twins ask Lucy to come to the mall with them, but Lucy says that she's going to the hospital to visit L.D. They say that they'll go with her, but Lucy looks uncomfortable and says no. The twins want to know why not, and Lucy tells them that L.D. doesn't want people to see her in the hospital.

At the hospital, Lucy arrives, and sees L.D. putting on her wig. L.D. tells Lucy that she's okay, and Lucy says that everyone is asking about her, and wants to know what she should tell them. L.D. starts to answer, but then breaks off and starts crying. Lucy asks what's wrong, and L.D. sarcastically tells her that she's got leukemia, and she's lost all her hair, but other than that, everything is peachy-keen. She tells Lucy that she's going to be in the hospital for at least another month, and she'll have her 16th birthday there, which really upsets her.

Elsewhere in the hallway, Lucy sees the twins, who ask about L.D. again. At first, Lucy doesn't say much about L.D., but then tells them that she has leukemia and is really depressed. Lucy says that she's been thinking about making a video for L.D. to cheer her up, and asks if the twins want to help. They ask if L.D. is going to die, and Lucy says that she has a 70% chance of survival.

Later, Lucy gets many people together to perform in a video for L.D.'s birthday including Heather, Erica, Bronco Davis, Bartholomew Bond, Tim O'Connor, Scooter Webster, and Kathleen. Amy Holmes and Allison Hunter ask Heather if they can participate. Alexa Pappadopolos-Dexter, Lucy, and others all gather at the hospital to celebrate L.D.'s birthday and show her the video.
