MUCH Logo from 2011-present
MuchMusic (though now officially called Much) is a Canadian-English language cable television channel previously owned by CTVglobemedia, however is owned by Bell Media as of 2011. It is a specialty channel at some regions while others receive it as a part of their basic cable service.
MuchMusic was dedicated to music, music-related.programs, pop and youth culture, similar to MTV. It was widely known to fans as the home of Degrassi, as MuchMusic is the sister company to CTV. MuchMusic aired Season 10, Season 11, Season 12, and the first block of Season 13 of Degrassi from 2010-2013, before the show moved to MTV.
The years following Degrassi's removal from the channel would see a programming shift. Many of the staff were laid off due to cutbacks. Much of the music programming was reduced to the block that as of 2019, it plays a lone one hour block of music. It has also placed more emphasis on imported comedy programs rather than the imported or original teen drama series that were broadcast during Degrassi's time with the channel.

- During the Summer, episodes of Degrassi air Monday through Thursday at 10 pm EST. During the Fall, Winter, and Spring, episodes air on Friday at 9 pm EST.
