Mr. Jeremiah was the father of Joey Jeremiah, a student who attended Degrassi Junior High School from September 1986 to June 1989 and Degrassi High School from September 1989 to June 1991. He was also the husband of Mrs. Jeremiah, the grandfather of Angela Jeremiah and the step-grandfather of Craig Manning.
He only appeared in The Cover-Up where he talks with Joey and his wife about Joey's jean jacket.
In Nothing to Fear, his car was undergoing repairs at the Delacorte's Garage.
In A New Start, when his son Joey was being initiated at school by Dwayne Myers, Nick and Tabi, Joey said that he was a cop. It is likely that Joey just said this to scare them and leave him alone.
Trivia[]
- Although he mentioned in The Cover-Up that he and his wife had four children other than Joey, they were never seen or mentioned again.
- In Weddings, Parties, Anything, Joey said, "Mr. Jeremiah was my dad's name." The use of the past tense may mean that Mr. Jeremiah died at some point prior to 2005. This was the only reference to him on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
