Mr. Menard taught the recreational gym class. He was very accommodating to Adam Torres while he was adjusting to Degrassi. He was portrayed by Jean Marc Genereux.

In My Body Is A Cage (1), he teaches the recreation class, or remedial gym, which was an alternative to gym that focused on ballroom dancing. He takes attendance and accidentally messes up Adam's name. He instructs the class in learning the tango.
In My Body Is A Cage (2), since Adam's secret had been outed by Bianca, Mr. Menard asks Adam if he'd like to partner with him during class, but Adam fakes an ankle injury. The next day in class, he sends Bianca to the principal's office for insulting Adam. Adam tries to live as Gracie and unhappily dances with Mr. Menard.
