Nancy Sinclair portrayed Mrs. Schlegel on The Kids of Degrassi Street and Wheels' mom Helen Wheeler in Degrassi Junior High. On May 12th, 2023, it was announced that Sinclair had died after fighting cancer and peacefully passed away at her home at the age of 82. [1]
