Shirley Douglas (April 2, 1934 - April 5, 2020) was a Canadian actress. She played Professor Dunwoody in an episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation in Season 7. She has numerous acting credits to her name. She was the narrator on the television show, Franklin, based on the book series of the same name. She has a star on the Canadian Walk of Fame. Shirley was the mother of Kiefer Sutherland and ex-wife of actor, Donald Sutherland. She passed away from pnemonia, three days after her 86th birthday.
