Women's History Month[]
March is Women's History Month in the US! The 2023 theme invites us to Embrace Equity, where the community can learn about embracing equity from the perspective of women. We're spotlighting women who make things happen and inspire others. Fandom also has curated a playlist in honor of Women's History Month as well!
Thanks for Celebrating BHM w/ Fandom[]
February was Black History Month (BHM) and we'd like to say a huge thanks to everyone who explored culture-shifting moments with us! Missed the celebration? We've got you covered with a rundown of highlights that we did during the month!
Two-Factor Authentication[]
Two-Factor Authentication for Fandom accounts has arrived! If you aren't familiar with what that is, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to your account.
Post History[]
A desired featured that's now a reality for long-term editors and admins that provides transparency and accountability in Discussions, Message Walls and Comments! We've got you covered with a rundown on everything you need to know about the feature!
MediaWiki 1.39 Technical Update[]
Fandom is upgrading to MediaWiki 1.39 this year! If you're unfamiliar with MediaWiki, it's a software which runs all of the wiki components on Fandom communities. Design wise, all wikis should keep the same look as they've had before. Fandom will begin to migrate wikis this month in March! During the migration to 1.39, wikis will be set in read-only mode. It shouldn't take more than thirty minutes however.
Community Connect[]
Whoo-hoo! Fandom is hosting another Community Connect this year in 2023! This yearās Community Connect will be from Sunday, April 23 to Thursday, April 27 in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is on an invite basis only, but we still got you covered! Users are able to virtually attend via livestream so anyone in the community can watch!
