In a small town lies Kaijo High School, but our story no longer takes place there. In the city of Tokuko, five hours from Kaijo, 4 old friends, who were a part of their high school culture club, alongside some new faces, embark on the next stages of their lives, and this is their story...
Lizzy: Is this really everyone?
Lizzy looks around the half filled table before her
Kieran: Looks like it
Tori: It was short notice
Yazzy: I was almost on my way out
January 2016. Kaijo High School. Culture Club meeting room.
Lizzy: What are the excuses?
Kieran: Ash is out with the flu
Yazzy: Gegi's got an appointment
Lizzy: Where the fuck is Hunter?
Tori: He was here like 15 minutes ago
Lizzy: Fucking bitch
Kieran: I made it
Lizzy: I don't give a fuck. You're the one person I didn't want to come
Kieran: Alright I'll go home then
Kieran gets up
Lizzy: Sit the fuck down and stay there
Kieran falls back into his chair
Lizzy: I call an emergency meeting, me! And this is the turn out? Disgusting.
Yazzy: You know you've spent more time complaining about people not being here than actually telling us why we're supposed to be here
Kieran: Ain't that the truth
Lizzy: I will break you
Kieran: IT WASN'T EVEN ME THAT SAID IT

Lizzy: Anyway, my mother is hosting a grand dinner party next week and I need you all to attend
Tori: Oh yeah, I forgot your family has money pouring out their asses
Yazzy: You want all of us? That seems a bit extreme
Lizzy: It's a big dinner party
Kieran: I know why you want all of us there
Lizzy: Be careful now
Kieran: You're making a point by bringing as many of us there as possible
Lizzy: I'm warning you
Kieran: The only reason I could think of you doing that is-
Lizzy: Finish that sentence and die
Kieran: They don't believe you have any friends
The sound of glass smashing is heard followed by a loud thud seconds later
Yazzy: You just threw him out the window?
Lizzy: Did I or did I not warn him what would happen if he finished that sentence?

Lizzy: So, I can count on your attendance?

Katie: 8 fuck's. It must be bad
Lizzy: My mother has invited me to dinner at the end of the month

Lizzy: This isn't time to be sarcastic, what the fuck am I going to do?

Lizzy turns around and shuts the classroom door

Delia: I'm back
Tori: Gym?

Delia: I'm gonna take a shower real quick

Delia: What is it?
Tori: My girlfriend's coming over in a bit
Delia: Oh? I finally get to meet her
Tori: Yeah
Delia: You know, I actually met a girl today as well
Tori: Oh really?
Delia: Yeah, she said she liked my technique
Tori: Well, good for you!
Delia: Check us out, a couple of grown ups
Tori: Don't know if I'd go that far
Tori's cell phone buzzes
Tori: Oh I got two messages, that's weird
Delia: You're usually lucky if you get one
Tori: Harsh...but true.
Tori opens the first message
Tori: Well, the gf isn't coming
Delia: How come?
Tori: Something unexpected came up that she can't get out of
Delia: That sucks
Tori: The other message is from Lizzy
Delia: What's she saying?
Tori: Oh shit, she's got to go to her family for a dinner
Delia: That's a problem because?
Tori: She hates her family. They're like super rich, own a fucking mansion but they've always looked down on her and sometimes it was like she was invisible to them

Tori: She wants me to go with her, she's dragging Katie along as well
Tori gets another text
Tori: Oh and Yazzy too
Tori: Hey, here's an idea, why don't you come as well?
Delia: Huh?
Tori: Well you know Lizzy, Katie & Yazzy, I mean, we've hung out enough times
Delia: True
Tori: Besides, it's not like you have anything else to do
Delia: Ouch. I feel attacked
Tori: Nah, you're just misunderstood

Lizzy: Oh good, you're all here
Yazzy: A threat of death if we didn't come. There was no way we were not going to be here
Lizzy: I'm glad I made my position clear
Delia: I can't believe I'm missing the gym for this
Katie: There's a gym in Kaijo
Delia: There is?! Score
Yazzy: No Kieran?
Lizzy: He's not answered any of my messages I sent him, little bitch
Katie: Still don't know what happened to him then?
Lizzy: No clue
Lizzy would never admit it to her friends, but she was starting to get worried about him
Tori: Oh that trial starts next week, you know the kiddy fiddler
Delia: I believe the correct term is groomer
Lizzy: Hey Delia, what is the correct term to describe you?

Yazzy: There's a Starbucks in Kaijo

They all pile into the train and find their seats
Lizzy: God damn it, I can't get my case up on the top because some fucker's put their duffel bag there

Tori: Oh my cell's ringing
Tori answers it
Tori: Oh you're FaceTiming me?
Girlfriend: Well I wanted to see your face before you went away
Tori: Well what can I say
Girlfriend: Did you get on the train ok?
Tori: Yeah, we're all on our way to my friend's house
Girlfriend: Aww wish I was going with you
Tori: Well if you didn't have to work, you could have come
Girlfriend: Maybe next time then
Tori: Sure
Girlfriend: I gotta go, my boss is coming and he hates when I'm on the phone, especially when I'm technically working right now
Tori: Don't worry, I'll speak to you later

Tori puts down her cell as the others stare at her with their jaws dropped
Tori: What?
Tori's girlfriend puts her cell down and tucks it into the nightstand by the bed
Girlfriend: Sorry about that, my mom gets worried when I'm away.
Kieran: Don't worry about it, is she ok?
Kaylin: Yeah she's fine
Kieran: I really appreciate you coming with me
Kaylin: Of course! Why wouldn't I?
Kieran: Let me just get changed quickly and I'll take you for a tour around Kaijo.
Kaylin: I can't wait
Kieran pulls Kaylin in for a kiss. As they kiss she looks over at the nightstand where she's placed her cell.
