I've been wanting to do something like this for a minute and thought this would be a good place haha. Anyways enjoy and feel free to talk about your fave women in the comments if you want <3
1) Ariana Grande - Not only does she make bops but she's also a kindhearted, strong, and amazing person. She's been through some awful shit the last few years and has managed to stay resilient and still an amazing advocate for marginalized groups.
2) Normani - Talented is an understatement. When her album drops her career is going to skyrocket. The abuse she's gotten from a certain girly and her stans that won't be named disgusts me but kudos to her for keeping her head up and being the bigger person, even tho she really doesn't need to be. She's just a sweet and kindhearted human that deserves all good things.
3) Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - I really try to avoid idolize politicians, but (for at least the forseeable future) I think she's the real deal. She fights for equality, people to have basic human rights, and for the environment to not collapse. She's inspired many with similar values to run for office and I believe she is the start of changing the world. Along with that, she works for her community, reaches out to constituents (and even those around the country and world) and seems like a genuine human.
4) Lizzo - a body positive icon. It is amazing to see a big woman (especially a black woman at that) be a major pop singer and not give a single fuck what fatphobes think. This is only just the beginning and I can't wait to see how much her career takes off in the coming years.
5) Kacey Musgraves - the best country singer imo. She pushes boundaries with her music and openly advocates for the LGBTQ community in her songs, even when it's frowned upon in her industry and even barred her from it. The best people are the ones that make waves.
6) Meghan Markle - she was too good for the royals and she found herself a good man. I'm so glad she didn't let the abuse from tabloids, people in the public, etc bring her down and she still walked the walk. She will 100% continue to do good things as she ventures through life and I knew she was a baddie when she stopped giving that family the time of day LMAO. Diana would be proud.
7) Ilhan Omar - this woman lived through war and despite how much I dislike this country and electoral politics, I think it's so dope she was able to be elected, especially in the Midwest. She's already done amazing things in office and for her community and like AOC, fights for human rights and will continue to do so and inspire more.
8) Beyonce - how can you not love this bitch? She's ALWAYS giving black women a voice and platform and making sure people are aware of "uncomfortable" topics. I love the evolution of her music and how much her sound has changed over the years and it's kinda amazing and funny that she can shake the tables every time she releases music LMAO.
9) Rihanna - Aside from always delivering bops and art, she's also an amazing philanthropist and businesswoman (I want the album but we'll let it slide). Like Beyonce, she shakes tables no matter what she does and deserves the hype 100%.
10) Zendaya - how can you not love her? She's an amazing philanthropist, actress, singer, dancer, etc and always advocates for marginalized groups, especially black women. She's also just a funny and chill human (from what we see anyways) and we stan a queen.
